What is prouduct photography ?
I think prouduct photography is when companies take photos of their products to try and get customers to purchase their prouducts . they make their photos of pruductors more appealing like add different backgrouds
This is the Sabrina carpenter sweet tooth perfume cherry flavour I like this photo because it shows the perfume but also shows the red and cherry around it . It is a flat lay shot and it is telling a story about what is in the perfume .
This is Cadbury instant hot chocolate it has a brown background and it also has chocolate in the background which will make people want to buy the product .
This are lego flowers boquiere they just have a white background so you can focus on the prouduct .

Idea:
The main idea for my product photography adversting project is that I am going to use Caburies hot choclate and shoot it in a flat lay composition to tell a story about the prouduct . In the flat lay I am going to add caburies choclate , sashes and other things to do with caburies .
For the background I am thinking of using the lightbar to create a dark purple or a light purple colour for the background for my idea.
Before and after photos review
In my level 2 media lesson I took some photos of a product for a lesson on product advertising photography I choose to do Cadburys hot chocolate . I took a variety of different photos using Cadburys chocolate and even a mug with the hot chocolate in it . With the camera I took different shots of the product such as flat lay which tells the people that are viewing the product a story and front angle which capture the product more from an eye level . I used a white background in the photography studio to put my items on and used a lightbar but changed the colour to purple to make the product stand out and it helped me get a better result with my photos .
Afterwards I edited them on photoshop to make them look more different so I changed the hue and saturation around a bit as well as the brightness . I think it makes my photos look very nice and professional I also added text to my last photo to make my product have a slogan .
